The initiator of Via Sonora in 1985, Raho
has played in both this group and in other early
music groups in Estonia.
He studied flute and oboe in Tartu College
of Music, and has taken part in several early
music master classes in Estonia as well as
abroad. Raho has taught recorder and flute at
the Viljandi College of Arts and in music
schools both in Tartu and Viljandi.
Raho is at present he is working at the
Department of Arts by the University of Tartu
and is the artistic director of the Tartu Early
Music Festival.
